In between the monsoon rains we have been having off and on all summer, the building of our house is happening. Hopefully this next week, the upstairs can be completed so that we can get the roof on and keep the water off of the subflooring.

Hey Nancy!!! Welcome to my blog. I'm pretty new to blogging, tend to ramble and go all the way around the world to tell something since I'm primarily talking to myself! I live just up I-65 from you, north of Bham, in a little community called Hayden/Blount Springs. I briefly checked out your blog and your "about me" page. We have quite a few things in common. I'll be back, getting to know you better ASAP as I was really seeing alot I wanted to read. And YES...I LOVE Ree's blog. It's the first one I ever started reading. I didn't even know what a blog was at the time. I just stumbled on "Black Heels" from a link on a homeschool board I use to follow. She has pretty much the same "unusual" sense of humor that I have. Looking forward to getting to "know" you!
